ATIKULATED OR NEXT LEVEL, WHAT SERVES US BEST ?

2019 promises to be a significant year in Nigeria Politics either for good or bad, the best is what we hope for. It’s been a while Nigerians have been clamouring for youthful and energetic leaders, optimistic minds are aware the 2019 election isn’t strategize for the young. Choosing between our aged leaders who have been the author and the finisher of the country politics remains our option. "leaders of tomorrow" is what we have been tagged with, tomorrow isn’t here, I guess. When fate gives us something sour, our smart choice can make it taste sweet.
Nigeria Politics is very entertaining and fun to watch, but not at the expense of the "Suffering masses". Whatever a country is doing today will likely play a big role in how that country turns out 50 years from now. Yes, we voted out Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and elected Mohammed Buhari(Change begetter), our decision in the past 3 years and few months have gotten us to this junction. Making decisions isn’t the problem, but making the right one is of utmost importance.
Change can either be in a positive or negative path. Is this democracy for the people or for a set of self acclaimed progressive group? 2015 left us with great hope, we felt good and happy believing change is here. Change can be achieved with a gradual process, but prolonged hope wilders mind. I would have been bias if I couldn’t acknowledge the fact that we experienced change, but I must confess it’s in a negative direction, depreciation should be an understatement.

How? If we ain’t logical we can’t be realistic. "Five years ago there was nothing", it was a headline that captivates me in the "UK Guardian" recently. The story was all about a town in Oman called Duqm which was transformed from a fishing village to an industrial town with a port, luxury hotels and housing for more than 100,000 beings with lots of incredible amenities to mention a few. Oman is an oil rich country, same as Nigeria. As at 2014, only 43% of households in India had toilets. In 2018, over 88% of her households had toilets after the construction of almost 80 million toilets. Change is what they have been echoing yet we remain the poverty capital of the world, Lagos-Ibadan express way is still uncompleted, we are currently the 3rd most terrorised country in the world. It’s time we wake up and slumber less.
Writing an article is good, reading it is better but deciding to be Atikulated or proceed to the Next Level is the best. He was our former Vice President, yes. Is he more energetic than the rumoured cloned leader or impostor? Is there anything that makes him more competent than the present leader? Do you think his plans are realistic? Think and vote wisely. The question remains "Atikulated or Next Level, what serves us best ? ".
